
Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on Sunday announced Naya Shakti Nepal party amidst presence of thousands of supporters at Dashrath Stadium. He also administered a 10-point oath to the newly-inducted members of the party. “I will do what I speak. I will always be optimistic,” reads a point of the oath. The former rebel had announced armed war in 1996 after presenting 40-point demands including scrapping of Mahakali Treaty with India before the then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. In 2005, Bhattarai faced action from the party and was kept at a detention in Rolpa.myrepublica
